Storm & insurance
Hail claims, handled honestly.
A storm claim is where most homeowners get burned by fly-by-night roofers. Here's how we do it differently — and legally.
We never waive your deductible
It's a crime in Texas for a contractor to offer to waive, rebate, or absorb your insurance deductible. Anyone who offers is breaking the law — and putting you at risk.
We don't pretend to be your adjuster
Texas law prohibits the company doing your repair from also acting as your public insurance adjuster. We document damage and work with your adjuster — we don't cross that line.
We document everything
Photos, measurements, and a written assessment of storm and hail damage so your claim is built on evidence, not guesswork.
We know the two-check process
Replacement-cost claims pay in two parts — an initial check, then the balance once work begins. We'll walk you through exactly what to expect.

FAQ
Roofing questions, answered straight.
Do I need a licensed contractor for a roof in Texas?+
Texas doesn't license roofers — anyone can claim to be one, which is exactly the problem. PowerEdge is a licensed electrical contractor (TECL #39773), so you can actually verify who you're hiring on the state TDLR portal.
Will you help with my insurance claim?+
Yes. We document hail and storm damage with photos and measurements and work directly with your adjuster. By Texas law we can't waive your deductible or act as your public adjuster — and we won't, because following the law protects you.
How fast can you replace my roof?+
With four crews and capacity for around 100 roofs a month, we can usually schedule within days, not weeks.
How much does a new roof cost?+
It depends on size, pitch, material, and whether it's an insurance claim — which is why we inspect first and give you a firm written number instead of a guess over the phone.
Do you do repairs, or only full replacements?+
Both. If a repair is the honest fix, we'll tell you — we don't push a replacement you don't need.
